Junior School pupils are taking on a running challenge to raise money for the BowelBabe Charity Fund in support of Cancer Research UK.

A team of Year 3 friends from Bromley High School are participating in the challenge of jogging 31 miles in May as a team to help fight bowel cancer. Their determination and commitment have been second to none. In the first week alone, they completed a total of 49 miles and have already raised over £1400! They are now aiming to cover an impressive 31 miles per week.

The Bowelbabe Fund for Cancer Research UK fund cutting-edge research into early detection and personalised medicine, raise awareness of signs and symptoms and tackle the stigmas around cancer.

This is a fantastic effort for a fantastic cause – Keep going, girls!
