We are proud to introduce our new Head Girl Team led by Ramya, her deputies Poppy and Ella and Senior Prefects Maya, Marie, Edie, Rania, Zainab, Florence and Lydie.
All our Sixth Formers are exceptional role models and it is more difficult each year to select just a few of these impressive young women to act as Senior Prefects.
Ramya – Head Girl
Studying: Biology, Chemistry and Maths
Aspirations/Interests: In the future, I hope to study medicine and work as a doctor, meeting new people every day and being able to make a difference to their lives. Although I study STEM A levels, I spend a large portion of my time in the Music Department, either singing or playing the violin. I really enjoy being a part of music groups, like Harmonix and Senior Orchestra, and they have allowed me to form lasting friendships with girls in other year groups.
My culture and heritage have always been important to me, and I have been learning the Tamil language and participating in Indian performing arts from a young age. I hope that music and performing always remain constants in my life, no matter where I live or what I do for a living.

Studying: Business, History and Design Technology
Aspirations/Interests: After my Bromley High School journey, I hope to take a gap year that will allow me to see the world, meet new people, and overcome new challenges while living life to the fullest. I then intend to pursue a business degree at university, which in turn will allow me to reach my aspirations of running my own business.
Being part of the Head Girl Team will allow me to help all Bromley High School pupils, no matter the issue, but also give back to the school for helping me through my own school life for the past 13 years. I hope to be a friendly face and an approachable figure for all the students, whether they are seeking a serious conversation or just a catch-up in the corridor. My aim is to make a positive impact on all aspects of the school environment, and I know that this Head Girl Team will do an amazing job!

Ella – Deputy Head Girl
Studying: Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science and Physics
Aspirations/Interests: After my A levels, I honestly don’t know what I want to do. But I do know that I want to pursue something that I am passionate about and hope to progress into a job I really enjoy. I have a huge interest in travel, and I am determined to see and explore as many places as possible. I hope to spend time volunteering abroad to help those less fortunate.
After being at Bromley High School since Reception, I can safely say that I know the ins and outs of the school and what it means to be a Bromley High School girl. I hope to be able to give back to other students in the way this school has given to me. I’m always here to listen to worries, concerns, or just general chit-chat. I want to make a positive change to the school in any way I can to benefit you, so please share your ideas to help them become a reality!

Maya – Senior Prefect Head Girl Team
Studying: Government & Politics, History, Economics
Aspirations/Interests: When my time at Bromley High School comes to an end, I hope to study politics and international relations at university. I have been interested in world affairs for a long time. The constant global media reporting on not only national political situations but also geopolitics means that I find it impossible not to be interested, informed, or aware. I would love to use my passion in my degree and beyond. Furthermore, I would love the opportunity to travel and volunteer in different countries as I learn more about their cultures while gaining lifelong experiences.
Being a part of the Head Girl team is a great opportunity, and I would love to use the role to grow our school community. I would love to help implement more student-led initiatives to add more to the school and bring us closer together. I am also always available to lend a helping hand, whether you need homework help or you just need someone to chat to!

Marie – Senior Prefect Head Girl Team
Studying: History, Psychology and Photography
Aspirations/Interests: When my time at Bromley High School is over, I aspire to either study history or psychology at the University of Exeter. I would love to be able to continue to play netball after leaving school as I truly love the sport, and it is something I find great pleasure in.
After university, I hope to take some time out and travel the world while doing animal conservation work. This will not only make a positive impact on the environment but also help me to grow as a person and meet new people along the way.
Being lucky enough to be part of the amazing Head Girl Team, I hope to leave a permanent legacy that will inspire future generations of senior prefects that no problem is too big when you break it down and work together. My ambition is to make a positive change and to voice the opinions of my peers.

Edie – Senior Prefect Head Girl Team
Studying: Geography, Psychology and Politics
Aspirations/Interests: When the time comes for me to sadly leave Bromley High School, I would love to study Geography at university and hopefully achieve a degree in it. One thing I hope to achieve for my future career is the opportunity to travel and understand not just other people’s way of life, but also the struggles people face. That is why an ambition of mine is to work in aid organizations to support people suffering in the most unimaginable humanitarian crises.
One thing I love to do is gymnastics, which I started when I was 5. The physical challenge keeps me driven, but my biggest motivation is the girls in my group whom I have trained with since I was in Year 7. As a part of the Head Girl Team, I hope that I can provide the same support to each Bromley High School girl, tackling problems big or small. Whether that be motivation through GCSEs or Year 8 end-of-year exams, I will be a pair of listening ears!

Studying: Maths, Economics and Geography
Aspirations/Interests: After Bromley High School, I hope to attend university to study Economics. I am fascinated by how Economics works for people to understand how the world is built and run. I have grown a great interest in this field and aim to have a career in the Financial Sector in the future. After university, I would love to travel around the world and visit countries with different, amazing cultures and experience new challenges.
Being on your Head Girl Team, I would love to help make changes that we, as students, want to see which will make our time at Bromley even better, no matter how big or small! I am always available to help out with anything that anyone needs, may that be answering a difficult maths question, or simply for a chat about nothing.

Studying: Psychology, Economics and Business
Aspirations/Interests: When I have finished my time at Bromley High School, I hope to either pursue a degree apprenticeship or go to university. At university, I would love to study a course combining both economics and business as I am thoroughly enjoying learning these new subjects as they are so relevant and current to the world we live in. I would also love to continue my passion for sport if I go to uni as this is something I have always enjoyed as it’s an opportunity to achieve goals, make friends whilst also having fun!
I’m not yet certain of my future career path; however, whatever it is, I aspire to make a positive change while doing something I thoroughly enjoy and preferably funding my shopping addiction too!

Aspirations/Interests: One of my main aims is to embrace positivity as I feel that great things can be achieved with this mindset. My vision for the future is a career in dentistry, where I can be helpful and impactful to the wider community. Similarly, as part of the Head Girl team, I hope to be a source of friendly support, ensuring that students have a safe space to discuss anything!
Over the years, sport has been a big part of my life, and playing cricket has given me the opportunity to develop many skills as well as friendships which I am very grateful for. It has also taught me resilience, which is a key characteristic of my faith. In the future, I hope to travel the world to explore my culture and heritage, whilst gaining new and exciting experiences along the way.

Studying: Latin, Spanish, Classics and History
Aspirations/Interests: After Bromley High School, I am extremely keen to travel the world on a gap year and see all it has to offer! At university, I am thinking of doing a degree combining both Classics and Spanish, with my main aim being to become fluent in Spanish. My dream job would be to set up a little cafe or bar in Spain to be my own girl boss and meet loads of amazing people along the way.
As part of the Head Girl team, I hope I can be someone that anyone feels they can talk to with matters big or small. I like to think I give good advice and can make people laugh when they’re feeling down so don’t be afraid to come to me for anything!
