Last week, Bromley High School’s 1st XI Hockey Team entered the regional Trust Rally competition at Surbiton Hockey Club, playing against Sutton High School, Norwich High School and Croydon High School.

The team’s first game against Norwich High started strong, netting 2 goals in the first 10 minutes, with Millicent and Isobel as the scorers. They secured a 2-0 victory. The following match against Sutton High saw them triumph 3-0, with Rebecca and Millicent scoring twice. Despite challenging weather conditions in the last match against Croydon High, they clinched a 2-0 win, with Louise and Jemma as goal-scorers.

Thanks to Nate’s impressive saves and the team’s unwavering coordination, they scored 7 goals and maintained a clean sheet. Their stellar performance placed them first, earning them a spot in the under 18 Trust Rally Finals in Northampton in October.

Congratulations Team Bromley and we look forward to seeing you compete in the finals in October!
