Friday 18th January marks Bromley High School’s 136th Birthday. We celebrated the day with a special Assembly where our Headmistress Mrs Drew, talked us through some of the fascinating history of the School and how it operated leading up to the 2nd World War. We learnt that despite the differences in the School day, our motto ‘Fides et Opera’ – ‘By Faith and by Works’ has always been true, and that courage, fearlessness and a love of learning has forever been part of our DNA. After a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday, we invited our youngest and our oldest pupil to cut some delicious cake! So, Happy Birthday to Bromley High School and long may we continue to thrive.
