On January 26th, Bromley High School hosted pupils from Harris Orpington and four creative professionals for a Creative Industries Lecture, part of our guest lecture series organised by the Department of Art and Photography.

The event provided a unique platform for pupils to engage with successful figures in creative fields, gaining valuable insights, advice, and real-world perspectives. The speakers, hailing from diverse backgrounds such as Warner Brothers, architecture, advertising, and interior design, shared their fascinating experiences.

In navigating the dynamic career landscape, it’s crucial to recognise the vast potential within the creative industries. These careers not only celebrate individuality and imagination but also play a pivotal role in shaping the cultural and technological landscapes of the future.

The speakers conveyed that their careers are not only rewarding but also immensely enjoyable. It’s an aspiration many would find irresistible!
