On Sunday 12th January 2020, Roxolana, Anjola and Naomi travelled to St Catherine’s School in Guilford to compete in the ECF National Schools Team Girls’ Chess Championship. Congratulations to our three chess queens who each played five games and finished in joint 6th place out of 50 teams in the U11 section. Huge thanks to our chess coach GM Chris Ward who accompanied the girls on this trip and provided coaching between rounds.
