Bromley High School is proud to be committed to serving the needs of others in the local community and further afield. This week, our Business & Economics department have kindly donated their old textbooks and workbooks to charity, Hope4Malawi.
Since 2008, Hope4Malawi has been involved with projects in rural villages, schools and orphanages to give children in Malawi a better education so that they are better equipped to impact and bring change to their own communities so they can move beyond the poverty trap.
In many schools children sit on the floor and in larger schools some classes will be outside under trees as there are not enough classrooms. In addition there are very few text books and often no reading books.
Our donated books will find their way to the new secondary school in Chipwepwete, rural Malawi, which has just finished being built (pictured in main image above).
