Following their victory in the English Speaking Union’s (ESU) Public Speaking Competition last year, Lydie and Ramya, both in Year 12, were invited to attend afternoon tea at the House of Lords at an event hosted by the ESU.

Lydie and Ramya had the privilege of being seated at the VIP table to enjoy tea with Lord Boateng and discuss the power of the spoken word. They also had the opportunity to meet many fellow public speaking winners from around the world.

Being invited to this highly prestigious event is a testament to the scale of Lydie and Ramya’s achievements in public speaking and their great potential for future success.
