Earlier this mont, Year 12 pupil Izzy participated in a masterclass as part of the PianoPlus International Recital Series 2024, featuring Dr. Robert Markham, a professor at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and teacher of BBC Young Musician of the Year 2018, Lauren Zhang.
Izzy showcased her talent by performing pieces by Rhabee and Shostakovich, captivating the audience. An inspiring day unfolded at this lovely venue, where Dr Markham taught four very talented young pianists and later presented a recital that included the sublime Schumann Fantasie. The event was part of the wonderful Piano Plus International Concert Series run by Natalie Tsaldarakis and Panayotis Archontides.
The day also celebrated the musical journey of former Bromley High School student Meilinda, who inspired the next generation of musicians with her exceptional performances and dedication to her craft.
