On Friday, Bromley High School joined schools across the UK to celebrate Number Day 2025, by developing and practising the recognition of different types of numbers and raising money for the NSPCC.

This year, the NSPCC celebrated 25 years of Number Day. The NSPCC provides support to children and families, offers counselling and advice, and campaigns to ensure children’s rights are protected across the UK. To mark the occasion, the day began with a highly engaging assembly presented by some of the talented Year 12 maths students. The assembly featured a fun quiz with prizes, where Year 12 pupil Sanjana impressed everyone by answering the most questions in just 20 seconds. Special recognition also went to Mrs Pradic from Geography for her outstanding performance in the maths riddles!

In the Senior School, the ‘Hunt the Teacher’ challenge saw pupils Mayra and Tosin emerge victorious, finishing the fastest and with the most correct answers. The Bromley High School Number Day 2025 bake-off was another highlight, with pupil Ella taking home the title of Star Baker, Dusty securing second place, and Divija rounding off the top three in third place.

Congratulations were extended to all participants for making this a memorable celebration. Not only was it a day of fun and learning, but it also raised money for the NSPCC, a fantastic cause that works tirelessly to protect children from abuse and neglect. The contributions will help ensure their important work continues, making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
