The Senior Hall had a real buzz on the evening of Monday 21 January as we hosted our first ever Careers Convention. Designed to give our girls further information about a wide range of career options, we were delighted by the turnout with more than 300 pupils and parents attending. We were fortunate to have delegates from a huge variety of industries, from Fashion to the Army, Drama to HR, Journalism to Healthcare, as well as having some entrepreneurs on board to give our students some first-hand insights.
The girls got to speak directly to these industry leaders and get a real feel for what their role involved and the variety of career opportunities out there. They also gained some practical tips on how to get ahead and how to pursue any particular chosen path.
All in, a thoroughly informative and enjoyable evening for all.
