Incoming Year 7 pupils were thrilled to watch “Upwards & Onwards”, a captivating 60-minute interactive theatre show by Bigfoot Arts Education. Designed to address the transition from primary to secondary school, the performance offered a humorous and insightful perspective on this important milestone.
“Upwards & Onwards” explores the lives and minds of two pupils as they embark on their journey to secondary school. Through a series of relatable and entertaining scenarios, the play highlights common concerns and fears associated with moving on to a new educational environment.
By weaving in humour and practical advice, the show aims to reassure pupils, alleviate anxieties, and provide them with effective coping strategies.
This play is a key component of Bromley High School’s comprehensive transition programme, which is dedicated to making the shift as smooth and positive as possible, helping to prepare pupils for the upcoming academic year in September.
