Eight pupils from Years 9 and 10 competed in Cambridge University’s International Competition for Young Debaters last weekend.
The event took place online, and pupils took part in four rounds, with motions concerning veganism, the power of social media companies, holding a second Brexit referendum, and the advertising of beauty products.
Bromley High performed well, with our highest placing team finishing 11th overall.
Particular congratulations to Eilah, Iris, Leni and Ilakkiya who were taking part in their first external debating competition.
