It has been a wonderful Autumn term at Bromley High School, culminating with the most inspiring performing arts productions. For those of you who were able to join us for High School Musical 2, I think you will agree that we could have been in the West End. The beautiful Christmas concerts for both our Senior and Junior Schools left everyone feeling well and truly ready for the festive season and showcased the variety of exceptional talent that we have here. Thank you and well done to all who were involved. As always, a heartfelt thank you for all your support as parents over the past term.
It is with great pleasure that I write to you with an update for our school’s strategic development plan ‘Building on 140’. I will write termly to keep you abreast of our progress on the plan. The school community has been very busy as we initiate new projects and build on the success of previous endeavours. I hope that as you read our updates, you will recognise how your own daughter has been benefitting across both an academic and co-curricular perspective. I continue to be very grateful to all those who are supporting the implementation of this plan. The strategy is a shared endeavour and reflects a wide range of contributions.

At Bromley High School we are so proud of the experiences we provide to our girls. The investment and status that we place on looking towards the future will continue to enhance our commitment to girls’ education even further. Your daughters are wonderful and my committed staff are here to provide the best education possible for them.
However you are celebrating, I wish you all a restful and Happy Christmas, filled with festivities, family, friendship and fun. I hope to see you at one of my open-door events in the New Year.
Mrs Emily Codling, Headmistress
