This season, both Junior and Senior pupils have been achieving incredible things in the world of sports, showing remarkable talent, dedication, and sportsmanship! Here are a few highlights of their outstanding achievements.

On Sunday, Year 3 pupils Ava and Isla were honoured at the Brombecks hockey awards. Ava received the Most Improved Player award, while Isla was named Player of the Season. Both have had a fantastic time training and competing in various tournaments, and they look forward to joining the Under-10 category in September, where they are sure to continue excelling.

Also in Year 3, Constance had a standout moment in her first Biathle competition in Hull, which included a run, swim, and another run. Her perseverance and hard work paid off as she earned a silver medal – an impressive achievement for her first event.

Year 8 pupil Holly had the opportunity to captain the Charlton Athletic under 13 girls’ football team to a thrilling 5-4 win over Sittingbourne in the London Girls FA Cup. Holly scored the opening goal with a brilliant free kick, leading her team to an intense victory. The team’s win was celebrated with a huge trophy – one of the largest the team has ever seen!

Lydia, also Year 8, continued her acro success, competing with her partner Alice at the London Regional Acro Championships, where they earned second place. As a result, Lydia has been selected to represent London at the Inter-regional Acro Championships later this month. Congratulations Lydia!

Year 9 pupil Evie and Year 10 pupil Aara traveled to Sheffield last weekend to represent Kent at the Nationals in the girls’ under 15 category. They played with great skill and determination, finishing the weekend undefeated and proudly claiming the Plate trophy. Well done girls!

All Bromley High School pupils continue to inspire us with their outstanding achievements, and we look forward to seeing even more success in the next term!
