Yesterday, Bromley High School proudly hosted the annual GDST Sports Rally, with the aim of fostering trust, collaboration and community engagement among participating GDST pupils.

Notably, this year’s Rally witnessed significant participation from both Junior and Senior School girls, showcasing their enthusiasm and commitment to the values promoted by the event.

The football team secured a commendable second place overall, showcasing their skill and determination. Holly emerged as a standout player, with her impressive goal-scoring abilities evident throughout the tournament. Maisie’s contributions were equally significant, adding to the team’s success with her well-timed goals. Goalkeeper Evie’s stellar performance ensured clean sheets in most games, making crucial saves when needed and anchoring the team’s defence with unwavering resolve.

Their final match against South Hampstead ended in defeat, yet their journey was marked by camaraderie and achievement. The team’s unity and dedication shone brightly, leaving a lasting impression.

Gymnastics also performed admirably, achieving a top 10 position, although we await the full results for precise standings. Meanwhile, netball displayed formidable teamwork amidst tough competition, with particularly strong attacking play throughout the court.
