On Monday, the Senior School celebrated diversity and inclusion with its annual Cultural Catwalk.
The Diversity Committee, along with Diversity and Inclusion Lead Mrs. Carrington, organised a joyful, celebratory, and uplifting assembly to celebrate Bromley High School as one big family. Pupils were invited to wear colours representing national flags or national dress that reflected their heritage.
“It was really colourful and there was a celebratory atmosphere. I particularly loved the dancing.”Morgane, Year 11 pupil
The countries represented in the catwalk included: Jamaica, Montserrat, Nigeria, Italy, Egypt, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Sri Lanka, India, Trinidad, Antigua, Dominica, Turkey, North Cyprus, Lithuania, and South Africa. Head of Computer Science Mr. Amponsah provided upbeat and inspiring music for students and staff to walk to.
It was a wonderful morning celebrating our diverse community at Bromley High School!
