This week, our under 11A football squad demonstrated an exceptional performance at the yearly Year 5 and 6 Football Tournament, which was part of the Sports Festival hosted by Bromley High Junior School.

The team engaged in seven thrilling matches, securing five wins and two draws. Despite not suffering any losses, the final verdict came down to goal difference, narrowly missing the top position with a two-goal deficit to Farringtons School.

The team’s commitment and unity shone throughout every match as they played their hearts out, displaying tremendous teamwork. Each player showcased brilliant skills and relished the overall experience, even though they secured the runner-up position, leaving them with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.

“It was amazing to see our team dribble, tackle and score but my highlight was just being a part of the game. Each of us left the pitch with bigger smiles than when we had arrived. We can’t wait for the next one!” Ria, Year 5 pupil
