Last week, we were delighted to host the GDST Spring Sports Rally, welcoming athletes from 24 other schools across the Trust who competed in netball, cross-country, gymnastics and football.

This was the first time since 2019 that the Trust Rally has taken place due to the pandemic, and it was quite an emotional event for our Sixth Formers who, after seven years of service to their school sports programme, represented the school for the last time before sitting their public examinations.

We had some individual successes during the day, particularly in cross-country and gymnastics; Year 7 pupil Kara won the under 12 cross-country, Year 9 pupil Luciana won the under 14 cross-county, and our under 14 team won overall 2nd place.  Hannah in Year 13 finished 2nd in the under 19 cross-country.

Year 10 pupil Jessica came 2nd in gymnastics, and achieved the highest overall floor routine gym score of the day.  Our Senior gymnastics team finished 2nd overall and our football and netball teams all came in the top 7 for every age group.

Congratulations to all our athletes who donned their Bromley High PE kit and stepped out onto the court, pitch, mat and muddy trail to represent our school.  Their contribution to the school and the kind, competitive spirit of the day was incredibly impressive, despite the elements.

To the pupils who competed in their last ever GDST Sports Rally, thank you for the stellar representation of our school.
