Our exceptional Senior swimming squad have become the Freestyle and Medley relay champions for the third year in a row at the National Bath and Otter Cup, held at the London Aquatics Centre.

In the girls’ section of the relays, over seventy schools from Great Britain competed. The squad showed great motivation and team spirit throughout the day, reaching the finals of the freestyle relay. They were against strong competition but finished first position with a time of 1:49:01. Guildford were placed second with 1:49:88 and Hurstpierpoint third with 1:53:73.

In the finals of the medley, the team also finished first with 2:02:33, Guildford were second with 2:05:00 and Mary Erskine School third with 2:06:74.

This means our hugely successful Senior swimming squad has maintained champions in The Bath and Otter Cup and The John Nalson Cup for a third year, won the County Relays and the GSDT Trust Senior Swimming trophy as well as broken two records this year. A great finish to a wonderful swimming season!
