Earlier this month, Senior pupils enjoyed a special evening at the Sam Wanamaker Theatre.
The night began with dinner at the classic Pizza Express, located within the historic venue, before heading to watch a captivating performance of Chekhov’s Three Sisters. The Globe Theatre’s production brought the emotional depth of the play to life in a uniquely intimate candlelit setting, perfectly complementing the small theatre’s atmosphere.
The story followed three sisters – Olga, Masha, and Irina – each from different age groups, showing how their lives and personalities evolved as they faced the trials and tribulations of time.
“As we watched the sisters grow and change, it was impossible not to feel moved by their struggles. The performance was not only thought-provoking and poignant but also incredibly fun, leaving everyone with a memorable experience that will surely linger in their minds for a long time.”Reya, Year 10 pupil
