On Wednesday, the Bromley High School 1st Xl Football Team took on St Margaret’s School in the ISFA Shield Semi-Final.

The game started well for the team, with Rosie and Hannah controlling the game. The Bromley Team took the lead through a well-worked goal from Sophie. St. Margaret’s came back strongly, led by their outstanding captain, resulting in player of the match and goalkeeper, Ella, making two outstanding saves.

After the break, the team once again came out strongly and went 2-0 up through a fine strike from Rosie. This spurred St. Margaret’s on, and they struck back quickly with two good goals, despite the efforts of Ella. This brought the game to penalties where the team scored three out of their four penalties (Rosie, Zara and Hannah), while Ella made three outstanding saves, sending Bromley High School to the final. The final is to be played early in the Summer term, with the date and opposition still to be confirmed.

Congratulations Team Bromley High School!
