Scholarships are awarded as a fixed percentage reduction in fees, usually between 5 and 20%, are awarded for the full seven years of the Senior School from Year 7 to Year 13 and reviewed annually.

Eligibility

All pupils sitting the Entrance Examination are automatically assessed for Academic Scholarships.

Selection process

Pupils demonstrating exceptional promise will be invited for an Academic Scholarship interview the week commencing 13th January 2025. Interviews will include a discussion about a range of different subjects to show a love of learning.

  • Scholar society programme: each half-term, scholars will come together for a workshop and discussion targeted at university of career preparation
  • Mentoring from specialist staff: 1:1 mentoring from specialist member of staff about academic progress and recommendations on how to wider learning
  • Scholar society open mic: each term, scholars will be invited to present at an informal event for parents, teachers and special guests from different areas of scholarship and the workplace on an area of interest or performance depending on scholarship area.
