“I can’t express how grateful I am for this incredible opportunity to learn from the best, whilst playing on the most amazing piano at Steinway Halls.”Sophia Short, Upper Sixth pupil

Sophia, one of Bromley High School’s extremely talented A-level musicians, plays the piano and the cello as a second instrument and has been offered a place to study music at the University of Oxford this September.

This year’s Steinway Scholarship Concert and Competition is being held on Wednesday 24th March. The event will feature 15 soloists from Year 7 to Year 13 who are all part of the Steinway programme. Five competitors will then compete for the scholarship which is adjudicated via a video panel, including a Steinway artist.

Good luck to the girls!
