We are excited to launch our first Mini-Minerva lecture this morning. Today’s lecture, How to make it in Hollywood, is a question and answers session with Lisa Kridos, the vice-president of TEGNA Media Television stations in the US.
The lecture is part of the Mini-Minerva lecture series aimed at Junior School pupils. There are six lectures in the series covering a range of topics including Why begin a surgeon is the best job in the world , Who were the ancient Maya? and How to get started in politics.
Each lecture will launch on Friday at 9am on the school’s YouTube channel.
The Mini-Minerva lecture series is based on the Senior School Minerva lectures, a series of high quality lectures delivered by outside speakers to broaden student horizons and provoke thought and discussion. Speakers are often academics, scientists or experts in their fields, and have included the famous historian and broadcaster David Olusoga.
