Following the success of the toiletries collection for Trussell Trust earlier this term, pupils, parents and staff from the Senior School have supported Year 13 pupil, Alex, in her initiate to collect as many bags as possible to donate to Living Well food bank in Penge this Christmas.
Living Well provides food to almost 600 people who are struggling, living in Bromley, Sydenham, Catford, Croydon, Crystal Palace and North and West London. Over a half of these people are homeless, sofa surfing or living in hostels and their survival this winter relies heavily on the food provided by Living Well.
The food bank has asked the public to send in ‘Bags for Christmas’ filled with food and essential items to be distributed to someone who needs extra support this Christmas.
Over 40 full bags or food and toiletries were donated from Bromley High School, which is an amazing achievement.
Thank you to everyone for their donations.
