At Bromley High School, music is at the heart of school life in every aspect and this ethos has continued throughout lockdown.
Last month pupils from Years 4 to 13 participated in the GDST Song Contest where all 25 schools across the GDST were invited to submit a solo or group music entry. Bromley High School’s performance was voted ‘Most Creative’, earning the Music Department £500 to support music making.
Our year 5 and 6 pupils also took part in a virtual singalong for the song ‘Keep calm and carry on’- a very appropriate message at this uncertain time. The video has been received very well by the Bromley High School community and viewed over 5,000 times.
Bromley High School’s vocal harmony group Harmonix, have also been busy recording a video for a cover of one of their favourite Bruno Mars songs.
Congratulations to all the girls and our exceptional Music department for supporting their musical talents.
