Years 7 to 11 pupils enjoyed a memorable trip to see Six the Musical at the Vaudeville Theatre in London.
The evening began with a lively pre-theatre meal, filled with laughter, bonding, and, of course, pizza. Afterward, the group made their way to the theatre, eager for the performance.
Six was a thrilling surprise, presenting the six wives of King Henry VIII in a way no one could have imagined. The musical opened with the wives competing over who had the worst fate, each singing a unique song about their life with Henry and how it ended. As the show progressed, the wives united and performed as a girl band, Six! The performance was vibrant and empowering, with powerful voices and clever lyrics that captivated the audience, leaving them buzzing with excitement.
“Six was an unforgettable experience for all of us – the songs, the lyrics, the costumes, the atmosphere. It was inspiring to hear each wife’s story from their perspective, without Henry VIII. I absolutely loved the female empowerment side of the show!”Roza, Year 7 pupil
