At the end of September, the Year 8 football team faced Trinity School Belvedere in the second round of the Kent Cup.
The team came out strong from the first whistle, moving the ball swiftly and creating chances. It didn’t take long for them to open the scoring, setting the tone for the rest of the match. By halftime, the team had a commanding 5-1 lead. Despite the advantage, they remained focused, ensuring solid defence and not allowing Trinity to score again.
As the second half progressed, the team continued their attacking display, netting six more goals to secure an emphatic 11-1 victory. Impressively, three Year 7 players stepped up and contributed brilliantly, with a couple of them even getting on the scoresheet.
It was a comprehensive team performance, showing great skill, teamwork, and determination throughout the match.
