Earlier this month, Year 10 pupils embarked on their two-day Bronze Duke of Edinburgh expedition, benefiting from excellent weather conditions.

All 11 groups successfully navigated the designated route near East Grinstead, showcasing impressive teamwork, perseverance, and navigational skills. Each student demonstrated their ability to work cohesively as a team, overcoming challenges and supporting one another throughout the journey.

The assessors were notably impressed with the high spirits and positivity that pervaded the entire year group. Despite the physical and mental demands of the expedition, the students maintained a commendable level of enthusiasm and determination. This positive attitude not only contributed to their success but also made the experience more enjoyable for everyone involved.

The expedition was a valuable opportunity for the students to develop essential life skills and build confidence in their abilities, leaving a lasting impact on their personal growth and teamwork capabilities.
