Year 6 spent a week on a residential trip in France, immersing themselves in the French language and history while staying in a beautiful chateau near the Somme.
They participated in activities such as mayonnaise making, paddle boarding, visiting WW1 trenches, and touring the historic town of Rue. They even managed to squeeze in a campfire and disco!
It was an amazing experience for everyone.
“It was really nice to spend time with my friends, learning new things and experiencing a different culture.” Ella
“It was fun, going out and learning about the history of the country. It was also shocking to see the conditions of the trenches and what the soldiers of WW1 went through.” Sam
