Last week, Rohini Jana, a GDST alumna and Junior School parent, delivered a Minerva Lecture on her career in law and potential paths for prospective lawyers.

Rohini shared numerous insights on where individuals should seek out law-focused material before embarking on a legal career, helping them determine their preferred area of law and whether they are better suited for a career as a barrister or solicitor.

Additionally, she discussed her own career experiences, including her work with Parliament and involvement in lobbying efforts aimed at supporting public legal education.

“One of the most interesting parts of the lecture was where Miss Jana divulged into the complex but exponentially valuable pathways she took through different esteemed careers, from corporate law to the advice sector, teaching us all the benefits of following your passions and acting intently upon your interests.”India, Year 12 pupil
