On Saturday 9th of March, two Bromley High School teams competed in the final round of the 2023/24 Oxford Schools Debating competition, marking the first time that the school has had two teams qualify for the finals of one of the world’s most prestigious student debating competitions.
Year 13 pupils Darcey and Ekemena and Year 11 pupils Fifi and Eilah enjoyed a stimulating day of competing with the top debating schools in the UK, as well as international competition from Europe and Asia.
With more than a thousand teams entering, all four students did Bromley High School proud, with the Year 13 team performing particularly well to finish in the top 50!
