A huge congratulations to Evelyn Davis, who has today been selected by British Swimming to swim for England at the European Junior Swimming Championships in Kazan, Russia, after impressing at the British Swimming Championships a week ago.

She will be amongst 30 swimmers making the trip to Kazan, for the five day event in which Britain has a strong history.

This comes on the back of a hugely successful Easter for our swimmers, with Imogen Meers achieving a fantastic Silver in the Transition (U23) 50m Backstroke Finals at the British Swimming Championships and Evelyn Davis taking Gold in the 50m Freestyle Junior Final – both with personal bests.

We are incredibly proud of them and they are both a true testament to hard work and dedication paying off. We will be following their onward journeys with keen interest. Well done to all involved!
