In a series of four engaging sessions, Year 4 pupils immersed themselves in a Design Technology workshop, honing their textile craft skills.
Guided by Mrs Maritz, a Senior School Design Technology teacher, the students enthusiastically delved into the art of creating dream catchers. The workshop covered intricate techniques such as braiding, knot tying, and crafting spider web designs, fostering creativity and fine motor skills
The young minds relished the opportunity to design personalized beads and cut felt decorations, adding a unique touch to their dream catchers. As the final session buzzed with excitement, pupils proudly declared‘ This dreamcatcher is made with love’, envisioning adorning their rooms with their handcrafted masterpieces.
