Since the age of four, Francesca began her piano journey at home, later advancing to formal instruction with BYMT teacher Tracy Goldsmith.
Now in Year 10, she thrives as a music scholar. Francesca just obtained her ABRSM diploma which was in piano performance. This is a level 4 diploma which is equivalent to the end of the first year of an undergraduate course. The ARSM diploma in Music Performance provides an opportunity for learners beyond Grade 8 to create and perform an extended programme of music and demonstrate their performance skills.
Francesca actively engages in community events such as the Beckenham Music Festival, Coulsdon and Purley Music Festival, and BYMT concerts. Her musical palette is rich with influences from gospel and classical genres.
She is currently delving into the intricate world of Chopin’s nocturnes, unraveling their complexities with fervour. Francesca’s performances resonate with her deep exploration of musicality, each piece becoming a canvas for her expressive interpretation.
