In an impressive showcase at the ARTiculation London Heat, Polly, a Year 12 student, captivated the audience at Dulwich Picture Gallery.

ARTiculation is a national initiative which empowers over 5,000 young people annually to articulate their ideas on art, fostering confident communication through partnerships with 50 museums and galleries across the UK. The ARTiculation Prize, a public speaking competition for students aged 16 to 19, provides platforms for delivering insightful presentations on chosen works of art.

With passion and eloquence, Polly discussed ‘Nan and Brian in Bed, New York City’ 1983, a photograph by Nan Goldin. Polly’s compelling presentation secured her first place in a tough competition among 10 schools.

Following this event, Polly will be advancing to the London Final at the V&A Museum, after triumphing over 1000 students in the National Gallery’s prestigious ARTiculation competition.
