Congratulations to our Sixth Formers who completed the UKMT Maths Olympiad for Girls.
The Maths Olympiad for Girls is aimed at girls and young women across the UK and consists of five challenging problems. It encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems.
Jessica, Ella, and Victoria took part in the very challenging Mathematical Olympiad for Girls. Ella and Victoria gained certificates of Merit, with Jessica missing out by just one mark. This is a great achievement as it was the first time they had sat this style of paper.
Congratulations to all three of them for their fantastic performances.
