Bromley High School’s Diversity Committee brought the Senior School Hall to life with a spectacular carnival event yesterday.
The day was a vibrant, celebratory, and joyful affair, drawing a large and enthusiastic crowd. Adding to the excitement, the event coincided with a non-uniform day featuring a 1970s and 1980s theme. The committee’s aim was to celebrate the numerous positive achievements within the black community during those influential decades.
Pupils soaked in the carnival atmosphere while enjoying dancing, face painting, and a range of drinks and snacks. Notably, Mrs. Olatunji’s Gele head tie workshop proved to be a major hit, highlighting the rich cultural tapestry being celebrated.
Laughter and enjoyment filled the air, leaving everyone with lasting memories of a day dedicated to unity, diversity, and having an incredible amount of fun.
Huge congratulations to our Diversity Committee for hosting such a wonderful carnival event.
