Scholarships are awarded as a fixed percentage reduction in fees, usually between 5 and 20%, are awarded for the full seven years of the Senior School from Year 7 to Year 13 and reviewed annually.
The Sports Scholarship recognises exceptional commitment to excellence both as an athlete and as a team player. By embodying these essential skills and aspiring toward the desirable criteria, scholars not only elevate their own performance but also foster a spirit of unity, growth, and achievement within the sports community.
Eligibility
- You must apply online for this scholarship
- All pupils who successfully pass the 11+ Entrance Examination and display potential excellence across a range of sporting activities; particularly those sports that we compete in as a school at borough and county tournaments, as well as individual talent in one particular sport, are eligible
- An accompanying letter should be included with the application that supports the pupil’s suitability for the scholarship. We will not accept an application without an accompanying letter
- A written recommendation should also be submitted by a PE coach, a PE teacher or a classroom teacher to support the pupil’s suitability for scholarship.
Please note that there is an expectation for scholars to fully participate across the breadth of our co-curricular programme in representing the school at matches and tournaments.
Selection process
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted after the Entrance Examination.
Practical assessments will be held on Thursday 28th November 2024.
Selected candidates will be invited for a further assessment the weeks commencing 13th January and 20th January 2025.
