Every fortnight, we will be showcasing pupils’ art and photography work.
The last feature of this year comes from our Art Summer Exhibition; thoughtful, skillful and highly creative work was on show from Year 1 right through to Year 13.
Our talented students demonstrated both skilful application of media and conceptual ideas. We had photography, textiles and installation, as well as the more traditional ceramics, drawing and painting. All brilliantly executed, highly personal and relevant to our student’s lives.
One student told us that seeing the work ‘helped me expand my creative imagination and encouraged me to be brave with my artwork. I shouldn’t worry so much; I should just make’. What a great sentiment!
