Last week was an enjoyable and fun week for all pupils in Languages as they participated in many extracurricular activities, allowing them to expand their linguistic and cultural awareness.
Pupils took part in activities including: a detective quiz, an escape room in Spanish, salsa dancing, German art, a Latin treasure hunt, Irish dancing, making lavender bags, a landmark building competition, and enjoyed the discovery of the secret code to all languages!
Languages Week fosters cultural appreciation and understanding by exposing students to different traditions, art forms, and dances. Moreover, it encourages teamwork and cooperation through participation in group activities and competitions. Additionally, Languages Week promotes a sense of inclusivity and diversity, creating a welcoming environment for students from various linguistic backgrounds.
Well done to all the pupils who took part and supported their houses! Many house points were earned and the winners of all the competitions will be announced on Monday!
