This week, eight pupils presented a thought-provoking assembly on period awareness.
By shedding light on the challenges surrounding period stigma and period sanitation, they inspired the Senior pupils to find the courage to speak up and embrace their true selves. Their message also emphasized the importance of compassion, caring for the well-being of others and giving back to our local community.
Today pupils wore red accessories to show their support towards Period Awareness week. Pupils are also participating in a Trust wide initiative, raising funds for Wellbeing of Women www.wellbeingofwomen.org.uk
This week, Bromley High School’s focus for Bromley Food Bank is sanitary products.
“I didn’t realise that people faced difficulties in accessing period products. Periods are a natural part of life, but I now understand that they can be a real challenge for many.”Shatha, Year 8 pupil
