In a delightful display of skill and enthusiasm, 23 girls from Years 4 and 5 came together under the bright sun to participate in a thrilling Mini Tennis Orange Tournament.
The event marked a significant milestone for many of the young athletes as they embarked on their very first tournament experience. Throughout the day, they not only honed their tennis skills but also acquired valuable knowledge, including scoring tiebreaks and making their own line calls. With each match they played, the girls grew more confident, displaying their determination and passion for the sport.
At the culmination of the tournament, every participant was recognised for their remarkable efforts with a well-deserved certificate. Among the talented group of young athletes, Year 5 pupil Sam stood out as the overall winner. Sam’s outstanding performance on the court earned her the prestigious medal, a testament to her exceptional skills and competitive spirit.
