Junior School netballers have enjoyed a busy and successful end to the season, competing in various tournaments.
On Friday 17th March, both Year 5 A and B teams competed at the annual Farringtons School tournament. The A team played some tremendous netball, showing lots of progress and determination against a tough competition and came fourth place overall. In the B tournament, the Bromley High School team was dominant in attack and converted many shots at goal; ending the day winning the B league and remaining unbeaten throughout the afternoon. Well done girls!
On Monday 20th March, Bromley High Junior School hosted fifteen local schools to compete in our under 11 Transition Netball Festival. Throughout the afternoon, the Bromley High School teams showed confidence and great progress. Congratulations to the B team who finished third in their group and won their playoff game against the Royal Russell B team 1-0. The A team was also fantastic, remaining unbeaten throughout the tournament and wining against Royal Russell 3-0 in the final to take the trophy.
On Tuesday 21st March, our under 8 netballers took part in a Flier Development Festival to test their skills and game understanding against local opposition. It was a lovely afternoon with many highlights: teamwork, resilience, fun and fair play were on show, with all teams making real progress in their attack and defence strategies. Well done to all Year 3 netballers and congratulations to the red team, who remained unbeaten and won the cup!
