On Wednesday 8th March, the school celebrated International Women’s Day, a global day recognising the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This year’s theme is Embrace Equity with a focus on gender equity.
In the Junior School, our House Captains hosted an exciting assembly where they shared women who have inspired them.
In the Senior School, pupils spent their form time taking part in a number of International Women’s Day activities including writing acrostic poems using the letters of a name of a woman they admire and developing lists of the qualities we see in female leaders.
Our pupils also posed in huge embraces to show solidarity for the #EmbraceEquity theme.
