The Year 8 football team played against Langley Park School For Girls in the second round of the Bromley Cup.
The game started positively for the team with plenty of attacking threat offered, unfortunately Langley Park took the lead with a well worked goal.
Bromley High School continued to play some excellent football with Feyi and Shekinah continuing to drive the team forward whilst Anastasia made some great saves to keep the game 0-1 at half-time. After half-time the team pushed forward and managed to equalise through a wonder goal by Emily. Unfortunately, Langley Park managed to score 3 minutes before full-time to win the match 1-2 and progress to the next round.
The Year 8 team should be very proud of their performance as they showed excellent teamwork, grit and determination. Players of the match were Feyi and Shekinah who played outstanding games.
