The Art & Photography department was excited to launch their Artist in Residence series this month, providing a wonderful opportunity for pupils to see practicing artists create work in response to their time here.

This week, practising artist Eva Jonas led workshops with pupils and talked to them about her career. Eva is a visual artist, facilitator, and co-founder of the platform UnderExposed. She often works collectively and collaboratively, using photography to explore the processes by which people situate themselves within landscapes, focusing on it’s expression in trace, gesture, and surfaces.

Next week the school will welcome Sam Ivin, a photographic artist who explores social issues and the people connected with them.
