The Senior Orchestra had the wonderful opportunity to see Disney’s multi award-winning musical, The Lion King, at the Lyceum Theatre in London.
Based on the Disney animated film, The Lion King premiered on Broadway in 1997 and The Lion King London opened in October 1999, playing to packed houses ever since.
The pupils enjoyed the costumes, music and dances which were all fabulous. They particularly enjoyed seeing the animals come to life as the performers used puppets, incredible scenery, special effects and set design to tell the story.
