On Thursday, Sixth Form pupils enjoyed their Future Focus Day which forms part of the PSHE programme (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Programme).

Once a term the school holds a Future Focus Day, each one featuring speakers and activities relevant and interesting to young people. In the Lower Sixth there is an emphasis on developing good study skills and making a UCAS application/applying for an apprenticeship.

In the Upper Sixth we look at life beyond school and living independently, which develops an independence of mind in addressing topics such as applying and budgeting for university.

This week our Sixth Formers heard from speakers from mindset coaching company Inner Drive and the RAP project. They also heard from representatives from UEA about choosing a university course and student finance, as well as taking part in mock interviews.
